Feminist Film Festival

Got this from Lynette of UCWS:

The Feminist Centennial Network (FCN) headed by former Senator Leticia R. Shahani will spearhead the Feminist Film Festival from November 23 to 29, 2005 with a series of events that includes an awards night, a set of symposia in different colleges and universities, and a traveling photo exhibit.

In collaboration with one of FCN’s member agencies, the Communication Foundation of Asia (CFA) and the UPCWS will be hosting a symposium on reproductive rights and HIV/AIDS through the showing of "Phir Milenge" (Till We Meet Again) – a film from India directed by Ms. Revathy that echoes the message of Jonathan Demme’s "Philadelphia".

We would like to invite you and members of your organization to attend the FREE film showing and symposium on November 25, 2005 (Friday) from 1– 4 PM at the College of Mass Communication (CMC) Auditorium. Ms. Revathy will be on hand to talk about her work and its relevance to global efforts to promote women’s human rights.

For your questions and/or confirmation of your attendance, please send an emailed reply to lynquintillan@yahoo.com or call 9206880 or 9206950.
