I wrote something in my alter-blog that caught the ire of a moralist. S/he sent me this link: Chick Publications.

This just might be the reason why I am hesitant to write freely in this blog.

I am a self-proclaimed feminist and just when I thought I can hurdle all the gender-based discrimination that come my way, along came this recent incident that made me rethink my values and disposition.

Everyday is a struggle, a continuous negotiation with unequal power relations and patriarchal social conditioning. Believe me, it is not easy. I still succumb to the pressures of society.
